Eugene Morlock Emme papers, 1942-1985.

The Eugene Morlock Emme collection contains: correspondence, clippings, manuscripts, newsletters, inventories, reports, notes, financial records, bibliographies, and subject files which cover decades of his career. Topics include: space law, agency policy, astronautics, aeronautics, NASA, National Air and Space Museum, insitutional archives management, World War II, German military during World War II, aviation, military procedure, education and training, national defense, and military medicine. There are also numerous books, both government publications and commercial publications, from the 1940s through the 1980s. There are 27 cassette tapes of the histories of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). A 16 mm film, "Gunnery Film: SNJ Aircraft, Against Sleeve target, July - 1945" (Corpus Christi) and two 45 rpm records entitled, "Lunar Landing", highlights of the Mercury Space Flight and Apollo 11 Mission are included.
